After 30 incredible years as a licensed massage therapist, it’s time for our beloved Mary Joe to begin a well-earned retirement. ❤️

For the past 10 years, Mary Joe has been an unforgettable part of the Rituals Salon & Day Spa family. More than a coworker, she has been a friend, a mentor, and family to all of us.

Her journey began with a leap of faith when she enrolled in a class at the Wellness Center in Dartmouth. That single decision changed her life forever. Under the guidance of her Sensei, Donald Cardoza, she discovered her true calling in health and wellness and found the career she was always meant to have.

Throughout her remarkable career, Mary Joe earned numerous honors, including being recognized as SouthCoast’s Best Massage Therapist. While the awards are well deserved, those who know her understand that her greatest accomplishment has always been the lives she’s touched.

Mary Joe’s goal was simple: to touch as many people as possible in a positive way. Through her healing hands, compassionate heart, and genuine care, she accomplished that goal thousands of times over. Every client left feeling not only better physically, but also cared for and valued.

Mary Joe often says she is truly grateful for every person who trusted her with their wellness journey. We are the ones who are grateful—for her kindness, her dedication, and the lasting impact she has made on our salon, our clients, and our community.
